Dr. Abed Namavari is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a fellowship-trained eye surgeon. As a sub-specialized Retina Specialist, Dr. Namavari brings a level of surgical precision and expertise to the Denver community that goes far beyond general eye care. He founded the Colorado Eye Clinic in 2019 to provide this elite, specialized care in a personalized setting for patients in Greenwood Village and beyond.
He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with a Medical Retina fellowship from the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute—consistently ranked as the #1 ophthalmology program in the United States. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
